Well, November is nearly come to end for this year of 2010.

Same stuff here in my university that I’m working. Lecturers. Some of them going for “Induksi”, some is about to further their study Master/PhD. some of them preparing for their upcoming semester teaching plan. Some of them is about to finish their study and coming back to university. Some of them is going for some course and conference (including me).

Again, it is some sorts of what our daily routine looks like.

You cannot write the same book as others.

You are in control of your own life

You will never be the same as the other person and no other person will become like you.

You are on your own and you set up your destiny

As for me, I’m preparing for everything that might come forth

My wedding preparation, my conference preparation, teaching preparation, paper writing, source code to be written and lots more.

What a wonderful life that we have everyday

Some day we might stumble upon a bad day – that can only be countered by a smile and make it as a test from Allah S.W.T.

Some day we will gain something great – that can be stated as a gift from Allah S.W.T.

So, what ever we are doing right now or in the future, you already decide for yourself.

The one that will shape your color of life is only you.

When you get married, your wife or your husband will add more color of your life.

Son, daughter, is the one that also contribute to your life color.

Family, relatives, and friends will become contributor too.

It is all depends in the life path that you set up.

Never get down and always believe in yourself that you are great person.

No one can be like you and only you exists in this world

You are different than any other person.

Stay strong and it definitely will continue to grow up.

Soon, you will never know what you have might become.

20 to 30 years from now, when you look back in the past, you will smile for what you’ve done in the past.

Yes, yesterday has encouraged me to write something about this. Especially after my first examiner for PSM 1 in my workplace.

Before I start, perhaps a nice welcome to you guys that going to read my not-so-good entry or article in this page. I’ve just want to say something that always in my mind. That is how I’m encourage myself to become a better person every single day.

After yesterday PSM seminar, I’ve noticed something that most of the educators failed to look at.

Especially when you are going to define easy, medium and hard project.

How you define all of them?

For example, I’ve master in computer graphics, So, I’ve become an expert (probably) in my area for certain level (expert is also subjective term).

Given that example, if I’m going to evaluate a person that is currently in final year, I cannot put myself into the level as much as I am.

Because among hundreds of students, it is quite rare to see a student with a good project. Except both of them is great. Student and supervisor . Or Student Thinking = Supervisor Thinking.

So, both of them is about to deliver a very good project or research.

If you are about to evaluate a person, you cannot put him as the same level as you. Know a lot as you. Eat as much as you. Earn money as much as you.

Same thing with the good things that we do and did everyday to Allah S.W.T.

You cannot judge the good things that the person did even though it is quite small. Only Allah S.W.T. know how far a person get for the good things he or she did.

The same thing with a research project. There is nothing wrong and right. Because when you doing something that never been wrong. Then it is not a research. It is an ultimate end.

Islam is perfect. Just follow the guidelines given by the Al-Quran and Sunnah,  then your life will be in perfect shape. Because Islam is Completed and Perfect.

So, Back again to the topic.

Katakan ada seorang buruh binaan dan seorang pegawai IT.

Seorang pegawai IT hanya mampu (contoh) angkat batu bata selama 1 jam lepas tu penat. Tetapi, mamat yang angkat batu bata setiap hari tu releks aje angkat 5 jam non stop.

Bagi pegawai IT tersebut, dia merasakan sangat susah kerana tidak pernah buat mcm tu sebelum ini kerana apa yang dia tahu mengadap komputer aje. Tu pun main SIM CITY buat rumah.

tetapi adakah capability pegawai IT tersebut akan improve jika dia terus menerus angkat batu bata selama 6 bulan (anggap dia ni nak merasa kerja jadi buruh binaan tu macam mana)

Selepas itu mendapat tunjuk ajar lagi bagai mana nak angkat batu bata cara yang betul dari supervisor.

Adakah pegawai IT tersebut akan improve?

Confirm akan improve!!

Jadi,

Easy, Medium and Hard must be defined correctly

Otherwise your student will get bad result of PSM presentation.

Supervisor must take care of the student achievement and the student must be teach how to be supervised.

The student must know how to get the solution by seeing the supervisor weekly or on schedule.

What a bright and shinning day today. Some of my friends already completed their paper marking “ceremony” while I’m currently facing problem of making another set of final examination question for one of my student. Because of his “denggi” fever.

But, back to the title.

Today I would like to discuss something that is we always and will forever do. As a customer.

Right, as a customer, you have right to buy stuff and demand for specific price. if you do not like the price, it is up to you to take it or just walk away.

When something happens, for example a defect at the “stuff’ that you already bought. You have right to replace it as long as it can be replaced under certain conditions (not applicable for some stuff like undergarments, etc).

Most of expensive electronic stuff has their own warranty. They might give you 1 year or 2 year warranty for common electronic and electrical stuff. But, for trusted and well-known company like Sony, Seagate, and many more, they can give you an option to extend the warranty up to 5 years. Or maybe more (but i not have seen more than 5 years until now).

Full stop there, because the thing that I’m going to discuss is about our right as a customer in term of what we are buying that might hurt our feeling.

In this article we can see how muslim felt when that “sejadah” has some sort of “pig pattern” on it.

Based on the reaction from Negeri Sembilan Persatuan Pengguna chairman, he told us to avoid any cheap bargain as most of it is made from non-quality materials.

But to tell the truth, not all people is willing to spend money to buy expensive items.

As long as the stuff that we buy can be used for certain period, then it is good to buy it at local store and save budget for important stuff

So, the point here is to give a reason why the thinking do the trick

Sometime, our mind intend to imagine something that might surpass or overlimit the usual thinking. This might be good and they cannot see something that looks scary and dirty. Some might say it is a ghost but actually it was someone who back from solat at the mosque.

Same thing with nasi lemak. There is an article in the website that said that nasi lemak might have a relationship with Freemason symbol.Because of the triangle logo used by the Freemason, nasi lemak that looks like triangle shape can be considered as one of the Freemason symbolic.

Again, it is something that someone should not thinking beyond the normal human thinking.

Same thing with a word of “Baby”. I can easily described it as “Banyak Amerika Banyak Yahudi”. Wow, how can our mind think something like that? So what happened to many other words that was saying that this is an acronym of jewish, etc?

So, my opinion is to always seek the source first and ask many times yourself why it is like this and like that.

Get a knowledge source and give opinion based on what knowledge you have.

That it is for today. Btw, this is how life turns on. We must take care of our muslim too just like Rasulullah S.A.W. take care of the muslim.
